State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, New Tehri governed by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), Govt.of Uttrakhand is one of the premier Hotel Management Institute. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid on 8th September 2015.In this highly-volatile global competitive world, there could not be a ready recipes or magic formulas on most effective initiatives to adept for the rapid changes taking places in hospitality industry, but I believe that Students are said to the proud products of any knowledge institution and it is the sole responsibility of the institutions to stand alone with the students while imparting them quality education and disseminating value-based course curriculum so that future generation would be capable to choose and decide the right path at the right time with right demeanour to face the challenges of this competitive world.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to State Institute of Hotel Management Catering technology & Applied Nutrition, New Tehri (SIHMCT&AN), a constituent Insitute of Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) founded with the aim of providing quality education in the field of Hospitality and Hotel Administration. In order to usher into a new world of hospitality and hotel administration, the Institute is committed to provide students opportunities to learn, grow and most importantly, developed them with multiple skills in the various departments that comprise the HospitalitySector.
Hospitality and Hotel Operations covers specific disciplines like Front Office, Food Production & Patisserie, Food and Beverage Service, Room Division and Accommodation Operation. Given the wide array of such disciplines, we believe that the application of theory moves in a right direction with active learning; hence our course also facilitates practical training methods and requirements. With the support of a dedicated and experienced faculty, our students will be fully equipped to launch themselves into an exciting career within the Hospitality Industry where it is
said that the doors of opportunities are open for those who are destined for.
